Yes—absolutely. Many of our guests join solo, and Wandering Sole Running Escapes is designed to be a welcoming, supportive environment where you’ll quickly feel connected to the group.

Our groups are intentionally kept small, less than 15 participants, to create a more personal and connected experience. This allows for individual support on the trail, easier connection among guests, and a more flexible, enjoyable pace throughout the escape.

Our runs are designed to accommodate all paces. We think of the pace like an accordion—starting together and naturally spreading out as each woman settles into her own rhythm.
Each run is led by a local guide to ensure everyone stays supported and accounted for. Your Wandering Sole leader moves throughout the group to offer encouragement, guidance, and connection along the way.
We regroup at regular points for breaks, scenic moments, and fueling.
These escapes are about reminding us why we run while sharing the experience with a supportive group of like-minded women.

Yes. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions and preferences with advance notice. Meals are thoughtfully planned in collaboration with local partners, and we do our best to ensure every guest is taken care of with as far as any restrictions and allergies are concerned.

Prior to your running escape, you'll receive a detailed packing list along with recommendations for trail running gear, apparel, and other essentials. We're also happy to answer questions and help you determine what you'll need so you feel prepared and confident before you arrive.
